Under Canvas ® appoints new CEO. Noah Brodsky takes over at the helm of the upscale outdoor hospitality brand as it plots strategic growth in the sector amid increasing demand for place-based stays. Brodsky joins Denver-based Under Canvas with more than two decades of leadership experience across hospitality, travel and consumer lifestyle brands. He most recently served as chief commercial officer at tour operating company Lindblad Expeditions, according to a news release. Brodsky also previously held senior leadership roles at Travel + Leisure Co. and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. 

according to Brand Innovators.com “ Previously, Brodsky served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Loyalty and Customer Engagement for Wyndham Hotel Group, where he was responsible for the evolution of Wyndham Rewards and its naming as the Best Hotel Rewards Program by U.S. News & World Report. Prior to joining Wyndham, Brodsky served as Chief Experience Officer at WeWork and Vice President, Global Brand Management for Sheraton at Starwood Hotels and Resorts.  He began his career with Four Seasons in resort operations and has worked on five continents.

A catalyst for innovation and transformation, Brodsky brings charismatic leadership and extensive expertise in hospitality, customer loyalty and engagement, and global sales and marketing. Brodsky is an Executive Sponsor of the company’s Global Inclusion and Diversity Council, and the Asian and Pacific Islander diversity resource group. He has also been instrumental in strengthening the company’s LGBTQ+ engagement and support.

Brodsky’s innovation in the industry has been recognized through multiple awards, including Orlando Business Journal’s 2018 40 Under 40; Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality in 2015 by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International; and Brand Innovators’ 2016 40 Under 40.

Brodsky earned a bachelor’s degree at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.”

according to Hoteldive.com ” Brodsky succeeds Matt Gaghen, who has served as CEO since 2020. During his tenure, Gaghen helped scale Under Canvas into a multi-brand hospitality platform with a portfolio spanning top outdoor destinations across the country, per the release. The brand also entered an exclusive partnership with Hyatt in 2024.

Last month, Under Canvas opened its inaugural California location, Under Canvas Yosemite, first announced in 2024. The company also plans to open Under Canvas White Mountains in Dalton, New Hampshire, in June. “
